ABOUT KYI
Kripalvananda Yoga Institue, Inc. (KYI), is a non-profit corporation established to preserve and maintain Muktidham, the personal residence of Swami Kripalvanada while he resided in the United States.
Located in Sumneytown, Pennsylvania, Muktidham is now used as a gathering place for chanting, satsang, meditation and other devotional practices. Yogic chanting takes place on the first Sunday of each month, as well as on special holidays.
In addition to its core mission of preserving and protecting Muktidham, KYI also seeks to preserve the writings and teachings of Swami Kirpalvananda, to bring those principles to a wider community and to assist devotees in their practices.
KYI is an independent, not-for-profit organization, supported by friends of Muktidham and devotees of Swami Kripalvanda. It is not affiliated with any other person, firm or organization, in any way.
KYI is a tax-exempt organization under U.S. Tax Code section 501(c)(3). Donations to KYI are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowd by law.
